FAQS - TRAINING

What is rope access training?

Rope access training teaches individuals how to safely work at height using ropes and specialized equipment. It covers techniques for ascending, descending, work positioning, and rescue procedures.

What certifications do you offer?

We offer internationally recognized certifications such as IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) and IATRAS (International Association of Technical Rope Access Specialists), from Level 1 (entry-level) to Level 3 (supervisor).

Do I need experience to start rope access training?

No prior experience is needed for Level 1. You'll learn everything from basic rope skills to safety procedures during the course.

How long is the course?

A typical IRATA or IATRAS course lasts 5 days: 4 days of practical and theoretical training, followed by a 1-day independent assessment.

What are the physical requirements?

Rope access work is physically demanding. Trainees should be in good health, have a reasonable level of fitness, and be free from conditions that could affect their safety or mobility at height.

What gear do I need to bring?

We provide all necessary training equipment. However, you're welcome to bring your own gear if it meets current safety standards (subject to inspection by our instructors).

Is the certification valid worldwide?

Yes. IRATA and IATRAS certifications are recognized internationally and are widely accepted across various industries, including offshore, construction, and industrial maintenance.

How long is the certification valid?

IRATA and IATRAS certifications are typically valid for 3 years. After that, you must revalidate by attending a refresher course and passing an assessment.

What happens if I fail the assessment?

If you do not pass, we’ll work with you to identify the gaps and arrange a reassessment. A rebooking fee may apply.

Do you offer corporate or group training?

Yes! We provide customized group training and on-site rope access solutions for companies. Contact us for tailored packages and pricing.

FAQS - REGARDING ROPE ACCESS SERVICES

What is rope access and why is it used?

Rope access is a safe, efficient method for working at height using ropes and harnesses instead of scaffolding or heavy machinery. It’s ideal for hard-to-reach areas and minimizes disruption, cost, and setup time.

What kind of services do you provide using rope access?

We offer a wide range of rope access solutions, including:

  • Structural inspection & maintenance
  • Window cleaning & façade access
  • Painting & coating
  • Welding & rigging
  • NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)
  • Building repairs & sealing
  • Confined space entry & rescue standby

Is rope access safe?

Yes. Rope access has an excellent safety record globally, thanks to strict procedures, redundant safety systems, and certified technicians. All our teams are trained and certified to IRATA/IATRAS standards, with full compliance to industry safety regulations.

How much does rope access service cost?

Pricing depends on the scope, location, and duration of the project. Rope access is generally more cost-effective than scaffolding or aerial lifts. Contact us for a tailored quote.

Can rope access be used on high-rise buildings?

Absolutely. Rope access is particularly suited for high-rise buildings, towers, bridges, and other structures where traditional access is limited or impractical.
How quickly can you mobilize a team?

We can typically deploy a team within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the job requirements and location.

Are your technicians certified and insured?

Yes. All technicians hold valid IRATA or IATRAS certifications. We carry full liability insurance and adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Do you offer services offshore or in remote locations?
Yes, we have experience working in offshore environments and remote industrial sites. Our technicians are trained for challenging conditions, including confined spaces and hazardous areas.
Will rope access damage the structure or façade?
No. Rope access methods are designed to be non-invasive. Our equipment and techniques protect the integrity of the building or structure.
Can you work alongside other contractors on-site?

Yes. Our teams are trained to coordinate with other trades and follow site-specific safety and operational protocols.
